TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of the First Reformed Church of West Glenville, 1930 North Road, Amsterdam, NY 12010 for an Area Variance that will allow for a 400 s/f Gazebo to be constructed in the front yard of North Road. Said property is located at the intersection of North Road and West Glenville Road, within the Rural Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 3.4-1-1.2
In accordance with the Code of the Town of Glenville 270-9, C. – Location: No permitted accessory use or building shall be located in any front yard. Therefore, the applicant is seeking total relief from this section of the Code.
Application of Rogelio Dominguez, 19 Jane Drive, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 27’ x 35’ swimming pool deck which will exceed the square footage allowed for accessory structures on the site. Said property is located in the Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 16.13-4-5.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9, G(4): The combined footprint of all accessory structures may not exceed 75% of the footprint of the dwelling. Therefore, the applicant is seeding a variance of 740 s/f.
Application of Douglas and Kristen MacLeod, 92 Charlton Road, Ballston Lake, NY 12019 for an Area Variance that will allow for the construction of a new 540 s/f two story attached garage a distance of 10 feet to the northern property line. Said property is located across from Roslyn Drive, in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 9.4-1-21.1.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270 Attachment 1: The minimum side yard setback is 15 feet. Therefore the applicant is requesting a variance of 5’.
